What is Fabseal®?

Fabseal® is a specialized process in which a thermoplastic material (PVC, TPU, or PE) is applied to seal the belt’s edges.

 

This technique:

• Fully encloses the belt’s fabric interior

• Prevents microbial contamination and moisture ingress

• Improves hygiene and extends the lifespan of your conveyor belt

• Is also suitable for mesh belts, thanks to BTE’s proprietary method

 

Even for mesh belts — typically difficult to seal — we have developed a unique Fabseal® application that makes them significantly more hygienic and robust.
